Who would have thought I'd do this?

Well after seeing my kids do this, my boss do this, and reading some of everyone's stuff..
I might as well get into the 21st century. With one in DC and my "adopted" in Africa and Ty who will just be embarrassed his mother is on line..well what more reason. Of course it will give me something to do other than vacume when there is nothing else to do at work and it will Give Ginny something to read when no writes on her blog.
And just maybe my children might read it once in a while and find out what their cool mother is up to.
Today she is driving to Portland to spend the night with Kathi and Steve and leave for DC in the am, to spend the weekend with Care. Although I will be spending the nights with John and David in Arlington. I have a feeling I am about to be royally spoiled! I don't think they often get reverse visitors from Sedgwick to Washington., rather their friends like to go from Washington to Sedgwick..Summer in Maine. I know Caroline and I are going out to dinner with them Saturday night. I will be treating Care and one of her friends friday night. Its a city fix. Something I need right now..the ice is getting to me.

The only other exciting piece of news is that we ordered a new couch yesterday. It will be in in 30 days..considering we had the last one about 20 years and recovered once. I can justify the
expense..Don says the markup on furniture is outrageous..well 20 years!! Give me a break. I don't buy cheap furniture to turn it around every 5 years. I'd rather put the money out for a good piece once and then be completely satisfied with what i got than settle with something just because it was cheap and then replace it 4 years later because the springs broke. He liked it.
He just likes to comment if it costs more than 10.00!
