Adjustment to that Lent issue..
Lent ends on Sunday if you are anglican or protestant or catholic, and you don't count Sundays during lent. Lent ends on Palm Sunday if you are Eastern Orthodox. Lent ends on Maundy Thursday if you are Roman Catholic at Sundown. There I am glad to clear that up..not that its any clearer. Gretchen

Hmmm...I was thinking Lent ended on Easter....perhaps I need to brush up on my religion a bit more! As for Winter NOT lasting 40 days...just you wait til Wednesday night into Thursday!!!!
This is good, actually. Meghan turned 17 yesterday and bagged her Lent promise not to eat chocolate. She must have made it all the way through, then, if you're right about the dates. I thought it ended on or around Palm Sunday.
Yep...I thought the Easter date was right...though I can't say for sure HOW I remembered that...or even why!!! hahaha
Either way...kudos to my lovely nieces for sticking to their lenten promises as long as they did! I'd give them credit with the "big guy" if he asked!!! ;)
